17th International Maritime Exhibition - Expomaritt Exposhipping Istanbul organized on behalf of the Chamber of Shipping-Turkiye, has been postponed to 11-14 October 2023, because of the demolish
decision of "Tuzla Viaport Marina International Fair, Congress, and Show Center". With its new date and new exhibition area, Expomaritt Exposhipping İstanbul 2023 is waiting for its visitors and exhibitors.
Exposhipping Istanbul 16th International Maritime Exhibition & Conference hosted the Representatives of the Global Maritime Industry at Viaport Marina Tuzla between
November 30 and December 03. 153 companies and 476 brands from 36 countries exhibited in the Exhibition organized by Informa Markets on behalf of Turkish Chamber of Shipping and 6.389 people from 54 countries visited the Exhibition.
Ship, Yacht & Marine Services Exporters Association (GYHİB), which is one of the main supporters of Expomaritt Exposhipping İstanbul, achieved an increase of 280 percent in April compared to the same period of the previous year and carried through an export amounting to approximately 110 million dollars. The sector ranked third among the sectors that increased Turkey's exports with the highest rate in April.
With ferries, energy vessels, tugboats, offshore vessels, fishing boats, chemical tankers, cargo vessels and other commercial vessels we have built in Turkey and when we add maintenance and repair to these, our annual export figure has approached 2 billion dollars. Our industry continues to work with determination so that our export figure goes further every year.
I consider exhibitions like Exposhipping as an important opportunities to bring together the shipbuilding industry, seafarers and manufacturers. It is our greatest wish that this type of exhibitions, which I think contribute to our country, economy and industry, become a brand like other examples in the world.
